This lesson will be for Monday, February 10,
2014.
You should view the following Khan Academy video on how to solve equations involving radical expressions. This will require you to manipulate the radical expressions in such a manner as to eliminate the radical and solve for the variable. Once you have watched the video, you will complete the worksheet attached to this lesson. You will have until February 24, 2014 to turn in this assignment. This lesson has been created to parallel what we have been covering in class regarding radical expressions, rational exponents, and rationalizing the denominators. The answer key has been provided for you so you may check your answers as you progress. All work will need to be shown, however, so that you are not just copying answers from the answer key. You will need to download the worksheet and complete the hard copy to turn in.
